About Mallory

Mallory Storey Ulmer represents victims in personal injury litigation, including the areas of wrongful death, catastrophic injury, motor vehicle and trucking litigation. She handles cases in the Southeast and Midwest at state and federal court levels.

Mallory believes that creativity in the pursuit and compassion in the practice of law are essential to achieving the best outcomes for clients, even in the toughest cases.

Mallory’s practice focuses on representing victims in personal injury litigation, including the areas of wrongful death, motor vehicle and trucking litigation. She handles serious and complex injury and death cases in the Southeast and Midwest at state and federal court levels. Mallory recently obtained a $15 Million settlement in a contested liability case in a pure contributory negligence doctrine venue, arising from a crash that caused catastrophic injuries to her client. In the past eight years, she has obtained over $32 Million through creative and committed advocacy for her clients.

Mallory is a passionate supporter of the Alabama Head Injury Foundation, which provides important resources for members of our communities affected by traumatic brain injury at no cost.

Mallory is an active member of American Association for Justice (AAJ), the largest plaintiff trial lawyer organization in the country—her law practice aligns with its core mission of education, advocacy, and the continual fight for justice.

She enjoys active participation in AAJ Trucking Litigation Group (TLG) and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA). Over the last four years, Mallory served as Co-Chair and, most recently, the Editor of AAJ TLG’s Journal of Trucking Litigation. She currently serves on the AAJ TLG Executive Board as the Co-Chair of the Special Projects Committee, AAJ’s Bus Litigation Committee, and AAJ’s Exchange Advisory Committee. She enjoys writing, speaking, and advocating for issues related to trucking litigation.

Mallory and her husband, Dr. Matthew J. Ulmer, and their daughter reside in Auburn. They enjoy traveling, visiting with family, finding good local eateries, and being outdoors.
